International Model Drag Race Association Forum

OK everyone its that time again.... and looks like the long range forcast is for great weather....

Track will open at 10 am... but we will start quailifing around 12 to 12:30... we want to make sure everyone gets a chance to make all the practice runs they can... Plus we will have larger crowd watching us with the IHRA Summit Pro-Am Sportsman event happening...


Winners of the two classes with the top car counts will recieve a $50 gift certificate from Boca Bearings... working on a few other items to make the weekend special since it is front of such a great crowd...

Boca has also stepped up to offer a $20 GC to the winners of 5 classes in each of the remaining CMDS events... as well as five $50 to the winners of the points races for the year....

Entry for the races is $10.. and its $10 to practice... so might as well sign up for a class to race ang get some points for the year end prizes...


i've been contacted by several people that got flyers from the NHRA event about coming down..as well as a few r/c racers form other arenas coming.. and showing interest in drag racing now...... so i recommend that everyone that might have a car for sale to bring it along.. you might be able to move it...

Something VERY VERY SPECIAL is on its way to the CMDS.. stay tuned....

Weather is looking great... calling for a 10% of a shower in the morning hours before day light.. so should be a great day....

A;ready had 12 calls and e-mails form people who got the flyers at the NHRA event.. so new blood is on the way...

ONe request... everyone coming.. come take alot of pics and videos of our race tomorrow.. want to show how good of a crowd we get spectator wise.. and have something lined up for the future that the pics and vids will come in handy for......

Holy Crap what a great day.... will say more after a nap....lol.... 22 racers... could not count the spectators so many.... in cluding the IHRA officials at one point...lol.. like i said nap now.. more later...lol
