Sounds like some killer clutch shoes :brnt: :No2: It sounds like there designed to give nitro's a better hole shot, they seem to look like a good product, it should help the hole shot and improve those E.T.'s.

I'm pretty sure some of our fellow racers would try them out, maybe those clutch shoes will out perform the centax clutch and maybe they will be the next standard item must have for nitro drag cars.

Give it some time, I'm pretty sure our fellow racers will test out the buku clutch and they will give there feedback on the clutch...

This clutch system is at least a couple years old and here on the east coast most if not all have experimented with them for at least that long. Some have stuck with them while others have reverted to the centax.. It is a much easier system to tune and you can fiddle and not know much and get a decent launch, however centax issues are generally just a lack of knowledge on how to properly build them and set the gaps and so forth effectively for drag racing. .. I fall into the latter catergory and am not implying you are riding that same bus.

Disco I use the buku on my a-51 prostock...the car put down 2.77 and 2.83 six foot times. These are my best 6ft times with the buku. My best 6ft was 2.44 with my 2 speed prostock using a centax clutch. Both cars had v.15 motors. It took me a little time and practice to get the buku set,but I like it a lot.
